Community of the Holy Name

Parishioners are Friends and Associates of the Sisters of the Community of the Holy Name in Cheltenham, Victoria. This is an Anglican religious order of some 26 women.

Fr Dennis Claughton is priest associate of the Perth Connection of Friends and Associates.

Little Brothers of St. Francis

The Anglican Parish of Fremantle has an affinity with this order of Friars from central New South Wales (based in ‘Eremophila’).

Two brothers from the Little Brothers of St. Francis order visited in 1995. While in Fremantle, the brothers conducted Quiet Days and Reflections as well as leading evensong at the Perth Diocesan Synod.

Flying Angel Club

The Flying Angel Club — International Seafarer’s Centre — in Fremantle provides accommodation and hospitality that is open to everyone and is located at 76 Queen Victoria Street.

Seafarers are especially welcome, as also are backpackers, for recreation and economical accommodation.

The Parish maintains a long and close association with the Mission to Seafarers and Fr Dennis Claughton is their chaplain.

Patrons can buy souvenirs and supplies, worship in the Chapel, or simply call into the Flying Angel Club for companionship.
