St Peter’s, Palmyra
St. Peter’s is located at 2 Hammad Street, Palmyra, which runs parallel to Canning Highway, just behind Woolworth’s Supermarket in the Stammer’s Shopping Centre.
As the church building is located in a residential suburb, St Peter’s carries out its traditional role of service to the local community, but sees its role to spread God’s love to all. St Peter’s is available to all for Baptisms, Weddings and Funerals. Contact the Church Office for these services.
Sunday: 9.15 am – Sung Eucharist. This service blends the tradition of Sung Eucharist with the simplicity of the Community Worship. The hymns and responses are sung by the congregation accompanied by the church’s pipe organ. During the past year Fr David Prescott oversaw the improvements to the building including new decorative glass and sanctuary improvements and updated the overall ascetics of the Church interior.
Fellowship after services simply takes place in the church hall. Conviviality, Community, and Caring continues to be celebrated with coffee, tea and bonox.
